Energy Star Program

The Energy Star Program is an international energy conservation system that aims at promoting the development and advancement of office equipment equipped with outstanding energy saving properties and functions. Most of Fuji Xerox's products are in compliance with this Program.

Take an example of the benefits of using ENERGY STAR-qualified products by a large bank customer. By upgrading old products with new, more efficient systems, it is reported that this energy conservation system helps reduce annual energy consumption by 34 per cent, or 1.9 million kilowatt hours. Additionally, if one multifunction system can handle all your document needs, the annual energy consumption is only 800 kWh rather than around 1,070 kWh in the situation where an office copier, two printers, and a fax machine are in use. Studies also show that the annual energy consumption of a Fuji Xerox Document Centre multifunction system is typically 20% to 30% less than the combined annual energy consumption of the individual ENERGY STAR copier, printer, and fax products that the system replaces.
